Day 1
City Stars Tours representative will meet & assist you at Cairo International Airport, and handle all your procedures through passport control, luggage area & customs formalities. Then you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2
Pay a visit to the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, then the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. After that visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses a vast collection of magnificent pharaonic artifacts. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3
Travel by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to Alexandria. Enjoy the fascinating Roman Catacombs cut out of rock, and Pompei's Pillar, built for the Emperor Diocletian. Overnight in Alexandria.
Day 4
Go by A/C vehicle to Alamein, the site of a great battle during WW II, and visit the WW II Museum and Cemetery. Proceed to Siwa Oasis, passing by the Great Sand Sea. Rest at Bir Wahid, a hot spring in the giant sand dunes. Overnight in Siwa.
Day 5
Visit the old fortified town of Siwa, then bathe in the bubbling pool, Cleopatra's Bath. See the pharaonic tombs in the Mountain of the Dead and the Temple of Amun (Oracle temple), which Alexander the Great consulted. Overnight in Siwa.
Day 6
Drive to Bahariya oasis. Upon arrival walk around the old village of the oasis and see the groves of palms and fruit trees, Bathe in the Roman hot springs of Bir El-Ghaba and visit the Valley of the Golden Mummies. overnight in Bahariya oasis.
Day 7
After breakfast, proceed to the beautiful White Desert passing through the Black Desert and the Valley of El Haize with its hot spring. Stop off to see the quartz crystal at Crystal Mountain and the volcanic rocks and petrified wood in the Valley of Agabat. Arrive at the White Desert, where you can see amazing rock formations, watch the sunset, and camp under the stars in this paradise of tranquility. Bedouin dinner in the desert.
Day 8
Breakfast, you will be driven back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 9
Breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for departure. |
